Jesus playing soccer?  Or Jesus being chased by a giant turkey and trying to save a soccer ball? You decide.

Also, #7, C’mon! look alive out there!

i got rid of my iphone for this; the htc aria. i think i’m just sick of apple’s total control of your communication behavior. that, and the snobby pretentiousness of iphone owners.
so far i’m really impressed with android.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves; we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.
2 Corinthians 4:7-10

Thank you for all your prayers, comments and tweets. We found out last night that my daughter’s (Daisy-6) cancer is back. The tumor is huge. It is in her abdomen, the size of a grapefruit and inoperable at this point.
About 15 pastor/elders from Reality just laid hands on Daisy and prayed for healing. The tumor will be biopsied this afternoon.
We are devastated, but trusting Jesus.

God in His love always wills what is best for us, in His wisdom He always knows what is best, and in His sovereignty He has the power to bring it about.

I will follow you if:

  • I discover that your posts are consistently thoughtful and meaningful.
  • I notice that you reblog a selection of my posts that indicates we have a common eye or interest.
  • You like or respond to one of my posts that is especially important to me
  • You rarely if ever flood, post random or senseless bits of private conversation, do reblog-ifs, mindless memes, or pictures of gross or half eaten food
  • You design your posts with your audience in mind rather than just to “express yourself” (which isn’t really a goal in itself, but rather is just an excuse for being lazy and thoughtless in your interactions with others)
  • You never post nudity or salacious imagery (being “artistic” doesn’t make it any less offensive - art and smut are certainly not mutually exclusive)

However, I absolutely will not follow you simply because you followed me. So to the 30 or so people who follow me in a week only to unfollow me a week later when I inevitably don’t respond with a follow back, please stop. You are wasting your time trying to push up a meaningless number in a spammy dishonest way. Life is too short to be spent like that and your follower count doesn’t actually represent how many people are actually paying attention to your posts anyway (the actual number is closer to 10% - probably much less if you aren’t doing the kinds of things I described to build a relationship with the community).

If you really want me to follow you, now you know how to make it happen :)

yes. thank you, Nathan - my sentiments exactly.
