when i think of you i see you glowing like this. there’s always a deeper power inside you that is shining through. it’s a small cruelty that your beauty is so intense - it obscures your intellect even from me sometimes. i just look at you talking instead of hearing what you’re saying and think ‘man… she’s so pretty’.

when i do listen. your words have impacted me like a flood; completely covering me for a time - changing my terrestrial perspective to an alien world, submerged by new ideas. when the waters recede, the landscape that i had known is forever changed by the power of your wise and intuitive mind, cutting new valleys and shaping new mountains.
you’ve learned what is inside you and you wield it, sometimes with rash confidence and sometimes with meek trepidation. you are letting the Creator shape you through merciful wrath and terrible grace. i’m more grateful than i can say - i’m really in awe of our God when i see his work in you.
