first of all, thanks to matthew buchanan for this new theme; esquire. i think it’s stellar. i love to change themes, and with it comes the tweaking…

i started my relationship with the internet 6-7 years ago with xanga, the original social network, but with the introduction of all the lightweight and community driven sites (esp. twitter), i got bored with the xanga way (but i still like the community) and moved on to other platforms.

enter tumblr.

question

i used to have disqus comments enabled, a holdover from xanga and blogger, etc… but now with tumblr’s “answers” + the nifty “notes” addition, do i need them? is 141 characters enough to answer a question? if you need to say more, shouldn’t you just reblog it with your own flavor added? is liking someting sufficient for most things?

i think yes. but it would be cool if you could reblog this to see what other people think.
