oh, ten.
first post of the new year. really feel like i should have a fantastically inaugural post that lays out my direction for the coming year. i don’t. i didn’t have any idea that 2009 would look like it did - albeit the general structure of our lives and some basic goals were maintained.
i love the bright sparkle of newness in january, and the red in february feels like blood is starting to flow again. march’s greenness speaks of st. patrick and shamrocks and rings in the growth of the next several months with little green sprouts of daffodil and crocus.
a lot died last year. there’s a lot of hope for new things to be born and grow this year. my only resolution is to embrace all that Jesus wants to do this year with wide eyed wonderment and trust, loving much and living much and making much of HIM.
